At Rincon Valley we are going to start the book of Esther. For those of you not familiar with Esther, it is the story of a Queen. This particular story takes place between the 6th and 7th chapters of Ezra. Esther is a story of the people who stayed behind in Persia after the captivity ended. One of the most interesting things to me about Esther is that even though this is a book of the Bible, it never mentions God by name. However, one cannot read Esther, and not see the hand of God all the way through it. There was a time in my life where I hardly ever mentioned the name of God. When I re-dedicated my life to Christ, I looked back and saw the hand of God on my life all the way through good times and bad. Maybe you're reading this now and wondering where God is. I'm living proof that He is never far away. You see, God doesn't leave us; we leave Him. But if you call out to Him, He will hear you and take you back. Swallow your pride and rekindle your relationship with God. We at RVCC see this happen quite often. We're not your average Church. We are casual, but we are quite serious when it comes to God's Word. Do you want to know more about Jesus and what He thinks about you? Would you like to have a relationship with Jesus? We'd love to help you with that. Come see us at 6:00 PM on Saturday nights.
